I left the city for the mountains4to seek God, train my character, and
prepare for the days ahead. Soon the door to move will close; laws will
tighten, crises will deepen, and danger will grow making it harder, if not
impossible, to leave. Preparation cannot be rushed, for country living is
more than a change of address4it is a change of life. So here, with the
sun on my face, the soil in my hands and prayer in my heart, I labor not
merely for food, but for a faith and character that, by God9s grace, no
crisis can uproot.
