Meanwhile in Pakistan
Roha is a Christian living in Pakistan, a
predominantly Muslim country. Her childhood was particularly tough4especially
as a believer in Jesus. Alienation and victimization was common. Then her mother died last year and now this 25 year old
has to put her dreams of becoming a
doctor on hold and care for her younger
brother and sister.
In spite of this, Roha has an all consuming love for her Savior and Lord. She has
dedicated her time, energy and life to
serving Him, and helping others learn
about the life transforming love of their
Creator. To this end she has singlehandedly opened a small orphanage
and day school for children in her community who cannot afford school fees.
The ministry is called Warriors of God Orphanage and Ministry. About 20 children sleep there, and 70 kids attend the school. She leads other women who
volunteer their time to help her.
In spite of the heavy workload she also sees a need to help disabled children
who spend their days begging for coins. They have a miserable existence.
Her ministry is dependent on donations. One of her current is sponsors has
been taken ill and is in hospital. Thus this months funding was not received.
Roha is looking for assistance. Even small amounts can make a world of difference to a needy child.
