OUT of TIME
Our Struggle with Social Media and
Our Walk with God
Let9s be honest we9re still struggling. There are days when we tell
ourselves, today, I9ll read my Bible, or I9ll study and do something productive. But before we know it, we9re already scrolling,
watching random videos, and checking what9s new online.
We often say, I don9t have time to read the Bible, or I9m too
busy to study or pray. But maybe the truth is… we9re not really
busy we9re just distracted. We have time for social media, but
not for God.
Social media has become our comfort zone our escape when
we feel lonely, bored, or stressed. Yet while it entertains us for a
moment, it quietly steals our focus, our joy, and our peace. It
feeds comparison, jealousy, and even emptiness. And deep inside, we know it9s not healthy but it9s hard to let go.
Sometimes we ask ourselves, Why is it so easy to open Facebook, but so hard to open the Bible?
Why can we scroll for hours, but can9t even finish one chapter
or one prayer?
The truth hurts, but it also awakens us. We realize how much
time we9ve given to things that don9t bring us closer to God.
Still, even in our weakness, God9s grace remains.
He understands our struggle. He sees our effort. And every time
