November 2025
Gardening Master Class
This is month 2 and our second session of the Gardening Masterclass. It was great to have
Wendy back to teach us, and last month, (the first class) was just theory. This month, we
were out in the garden working, so praise God for the cooler weather, which made the
class and the work very enjoyable. People came prepared to work4even the children
were engaged! We are developing a section of the farm to demonstrate tropical agriculture, which is described as God9s way to garden using the natural soil chemistry and biology to your advantage, as well as planting rows of crops according to the compass and the
function.
Our first row is a tree line, which is made up of densely planted trees and shrubs, which will
be kept to five feet or shorter. We cleared the ground of weeds, added some good topsoil,
lined the row with fallen and rotten tree logs, and planted a row about three feet wide and
forty feet long. We covered it all with mulch.
That9s as much as we did in October9s class. In November, we will be focusing on the next
row, which will consist of green mulch compost. This will help us to fertilize the soil without using any artificial fertilizers. The third row will be our annuals, such as herbs and vegetables.
We will be preparing the land for the next class, which will be on November 16. You can
register for this event on the Gardening Masterclass event page, and it will start at 4:00 PM.
It is completely free, but we do need to collect donations to fund these classes. The recommended donation amount is $10 per family per class.
We pray that you can attend this next gardening class with us. See you there!
