Hephzibah Farm and
Health Education Center
This has been a quiet month I that we
have not been planting much. There is
so much harvesting and weeding that
keeps us busy.
Talking about weeding. I sued to have a
ride on lawnmower. But since we dug
up our lawn and turned it into a food forest there was no loner any need. So it
sat there doing nothing. Now I want it
and it9s not working. This serves as an
illustration about regular maintenance
especially when it comes to our spiritual
life. The devil would have us sat doing
nothing. In such a condition we lose our
sharpness, our edge and become dysfunctional. So when we are called upon
to perform or conquer or even start we
are unable to do so..
o what were we to do with a lawnmower that wasn9t working. It needed so
many replaces that it was simpler to buy
a new one. So we9ve bit the bullet and
purchased a zero turn Husqvarna mow-
er. This will help us maintain those areas
of the farm that are currently overgrown.
There is so much work that it is overwhelming. Between church, farm, home
and travel it seems like I need to clone
myself. So we have decided that we
need an intern pastor to join us in ministry. We will provide accommodation
and a stipend. They9ll partner with me in
all aspects of ministry as well as develop
the ministry as God directs them.
We are also looking for an assistant for
Paula (my wife) since her hands are also
full to overflowing.

To meet the need for accommodation
we are bringing forward the accommodation phases of the building work at
Hephzibah. This has shifted our finances
and we are seeking additional sponsorship to complete the construction of the
education center, and intern accommodation. Feel free to reach out to me if

Finally we have purchased new cameras for Imminent Advent Ministries so that
we can live stream the worship service.
