Meanwhile in the Thailand
Where does time go?
I have been thinking a lot about time and how precious it is and how much we may
take it for granted. I say this in light of sharing the gospel. Is sharing the gospel
something that needs to be done in preparation of evangelism or during specific days
or times? Time is precious and is a gift that we have only at the present time. The
future is only a dream and hope. Right now is all we have.
Having said that, I think about sharing the gospel and if we want to see It going to all
the world, we need to take advantage of our time. I want to live daily with the
awareness that those around me need to hear about Jesus. Our family just moved to
a new neighborhood and one of my new neighbors is very friendly and she told me
the first day we met that she had recently finished her chemotherapy. I have been in
our new house only for two and a half weeks, and last week I felt impressed to asked
her if it was ok for me to pray for her regularly. My intentions are to pray with her as
often as I can, when I take my dog out for a walk. Well, we have prayed three times
already.
I was eating at a cafeteria before my Thai class and I saw a lady seating at the table
next to me, so I thought, well, I will go and ask her if I can sit with her for a moment.....I
