It9s been a busy month on the farm.
We welcomed David to the family. He9s
a kid born to Sarai4one of our goats.
Mother and baby are doing well. Baby
goats are such wonderful fun. David will
need a permanent home. If you9re interested in purchasing a Nigerian Dwarf
goat then please contact us.
We had our first community education
event: a Masterclass in Gardening with
Wendy Jackson. We purchased two
209x209 tents to shade people from the
sun, This first class was just going over
the theory. In the next class we will start
planting. I9m looking forward to it.
We have a third of the irrigation system
installed. With over 300 trees and 5000+
sq ft of raised beds, this project is long
overdue. It9s going to make it a lot easier to keep things watered. Once we
get power to the other two wells (i.e. install the solar panels etc) then we can
complete the irrigation installation.
so a blessing when it comes to digging
holes for tree planting. We also purchased a zero-turn lawn mower to keep
the grass areas under control.
We were also gifted some bees. We
haven't been successful with bees so far.
But we will persist. They9re in the wooded area which I hope that they like so
much that they9ll stay. It would be great
to have our own reliable supply of honey.
The next purchases are the large storage
barns. We hope that having been
zoned and taxed as a farm will make it
easier to get it installed. Please pray for
us. Planning and permits can be such a
headache.
The retention pond are full, and they
even have fish in them. I wonder how
these fish get there.
Thank you to all the volunteers who
come and help out from time-to-time.
Two 169x109 storage sheds are being
erected. This will provide a safe and secure place for tools, equipment, supplies
and animal feed.
We continue to give thanks for the farm
and for the food that it is producing.
Hopefully we will have enough to sell
and generate an income.

she9s ready to continue helping us with
moving top soil, sand and gravel. It9s al-
